Fetish Factory owners Donna and Glenn

Previously, we told you all about southern Florida's Fetish Factory. Now, we're letting you know about the hottest party they're likely to hold this decade - their 10th anniversary party.

It's been said before, but it's worth mentioning again that there are few places in the US that know fetish fashion. Of those few, even fewer are located on the eastern seaboard, but one name earns considerable recognition, no matter the location: Fetish Factory. To celebrate 10 astounding years of success, they've devised not just one event to note the date, but a complete Fetish Weekend. The main sponsors of The Fetish Factory 10th Anniversary Fetish Weekend are high-end fetish magazines Marquis and Skin Two. The Eros Guide, our sister site, is also one of the sponsors.

FF founder and owner Glenn told us that this is a weekend event "because people were saying things like, if I'm coming from England or Europe or somewhere to come to your party, I want more than just one night of trouble (read: fun). So we decided to spread it out into a whole debauched weekend."

Sounds good, doesn't it? So what's on the menu of debauchery? Well, the festivities begin on Friday, May 27 from 10pm-4am with the Beat and Greet Fetish Lounge at the Safari Room (located at the back entrance of the Coliseum Nightclub. Admission is $10 in advance at the Fetish Factory and $15 online or at the door. As you must be used to us advising, because it is a fetish event, fetish attire is required! No cameras are allowed other than those certified beforehand with an authorized press pass. It will be an 18+ event, but alcohol will also be served for those 21+.

At this extravaganza, expect to see some incredible performances by Rubberdoll and Rebecca's Rubber Room who, as regular performers at Alter Ego for some time, are no strangers to Fetish Factory events. You'll have the opportunity to meet the entertainers Emily Marilyn, Jean Bardot (a/k/a Rubberella), aerial performer Chain Goddess Brandy, as well as the aforementioned Rubberdoll and Rebecca.

Sexy slave-girls will be on hand with their subtle presence to serve you from trays of wine and cheeses from 10-11pm. Once you've met old friends and made some new ones, you can hear tracks by DJ Danny Bled, who will be spinning Industrial & EBM, and Godfather on the covered patio churning out 80s retro-classics and Industrial. Also on hand will be custom steel bondage structures for those so inclined for a little evening indulgence.

Saturday, May 28 offers an even hotter line-up of events laid out for your delight. This is the evening of the Xtreme Players Party, but this time, you do not have to be a member of the Xtreme Players Club to attend. It will be held at Cheetah North Miami from 10pm-4am. Aww, you can last that long, can't you? Admission for this event is $20 in advance either at the Fetish Factory or online. Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door, so plan ahead.

Yet again, shall we mention that fetish attire is completely de rigueur? The age limit for this event is also 21+, and a full service bar will be on hand to fill those drink orders for you bev-gluttons. Lushes.

According to the official Fetish Weekend site, this party is an "anything goes party and is not for the faint of heart. If you are not an extreme player or voyeur, we will be developing a list of fun alternative things for you to do Saturday night including nightclubs, restaurants, swing clubs, attractions, shopping, etc." In other words, if you're not ready to play hard, or get off on others playing hard, this is likely not the event you should have be your first foray into the realm. This is for experts, kiddies; ain't no foolin' around, here. The cautionary stance is a serious one, and if you're not prepared for this event, then enjoy one of the other fabulous things to do.

Sunday, May 29 will be the festival night you've been (not-so) patiently awaiting, the Fetish Factory 10 Year Anniversary Fetish Ball, held at the Coliseum Nightclub from 10pm to a whopping 6am. Save all your energy for it, folks. This will be the event of the decade.

Admission for the Ball is $25 in advance and $30 online or at the door. It's 18+ to attend and 21+ to drink. For some additional perks, VIP Reservations are also available. "Upon your arrival at the club, the VIP entrance will save you any time spent in a general admissions line. You will be wrist-banded and escorted to one of our exclusive VIP areas. There, you will enjoy an evening of personalized and outstanding service." This service is available for groups of two or more attending together, and bottle service is required in this area. Also included with VIP entry is preferred, reserved seating all evening providing you with an excellent view of all fetish performances. Admission must be purchased in advance or at the club (cash only) and is not included in the VIP offer. Of course, if you are a high roller and would like VIP service on your own, secure a table, order your bottle service, and invite whomever you like to join you. A couple (or group) must purchase at least one bottle from the club's bottle list to enter the VIP area. But what will you see at the event, regardless of what kind of ticket you purchase? Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my? No, much better than that. Special fetish performances all night will be held by such renown names as the seductive Emily Marilyn, the delightful deviant Rubberella, Chain Goddess Brandy, and the PorcelainTwinz.

There will be four incredible DJs on hand. In the Main Ballroom is DJ Alan of Torture Garden spinning hard dance and trance, and DJ Danny Bled spinning his exotic blend of Industrial, EBM and Drum N'Bass. In the Safari Playroom, you can shake your bits to DJ David of Torture Garden who will be playing eclectic electroclash, and DJ Godfather again doing his thang with 80's retro-classics and alternative. In the Videodrome you'll meet up with DJ Guy who will ply you with progressive house and breakbeats. And if you find yourself out on the patio, you'll be able to relax with ambient tunes to calm your pulse and help you mellow spun by several guest DJs.

The thing to remember is that this is a world-class event, folks, so you can expect that the Best of the Best in the world of Fetish will be making an appearance. Photo coverage will be intense, so make sure you go all out with your fetish fashions. During the evening, there will also be a fashion show of luscious fetish designs by Torture Garden. There will also be images in a retrospective flashback created by The Ubiquitous Timb projected on screens throughout the venue. And if that isn't enough, look for your favorite Fetish Factory Party Dancers. They'll be on hand to add the spice that you've come to know and love.

The Fetish Factory has made arrangements with The Embassy Suites Ft. Lauderdale, who have set aside rooms especially to cater to this glam event. If you use the code FFF when making your reservations, you can get a room for $104. This includes "a nightly open bar, a daily free breakfast made to order, free shuttle service to and from the airport, and so much more!" What's more, the Fetish Factory will be providing transportation from the Embassy Suites to all the weekend's festivities for $10.

It was co-owner Glenn's infectious enthusiasm which helped make Fetish Factory the incredible success it has become. He is well-respected by the fetish community, and he sincerely takes pride and finds joy in every aspect of his involvement in the fetish scene. It's not about money for him; it's about fetish, the alter-ego and finding who you really are in a space that's safe to do so.
