For their party at last year's Fetishcon, Ft. Lauderdale's legendary fetish emporium, Fetish Factory, and the area's wickedest fetish party, Alter Ego, whipped up a hurricane.
You might think I'm joking, or at least engaging in a little in-jokey fetish-community hyperbole. How I wish I was; in fact, however, Hurricane Jeanne was as real as the kickass fetish party that the Ft. Lauderdale folks threw for their Fetishcon friends. "As soon as the party was over," according to Fetish Factory owner Glenn, "we had to pack everything up and hit the road. We were actually being blown in front of the storm."
But given that this past May's Fetish Factory 10th Anniversary Ball is being spoken of far and wide as one of the best fetish parties of all time, Glenn and company would never dream of forgoing the pleasures of this year's Fetishcon. "Fetish Factory takes The Castle By Storm!" we're told at FF's website, and there's no reason to doubt that this year's hurricane will be just as extreme as last year's -- but this hurricane will be made of latex-and-rubber-clad partygoers.
This year's event promises kinky performances by Masuimi Max, Rebecca's Rubber Room, Kumi and Rubberdoll. In addition, live jusic and dark visuals will be provided by The Synthetic Dream Foundation. If that's not enough to get you going, visit the erotic fetish gallery provided by Allen Robst of Merger Studios. Fetish Factory's Alter Ego parties are famous far and wide, and their strict dress codes are part of the formula -- so if you're attending, be sure to get slippery in your favorite naughtywear. That means latex, rubber, vinyl, pvc, leather, sexy uniforms, ultra-formal, Victorian, kinky drag, fetish glam, cyber erotic or retro. Normal clubwear, street clothes (black or otherwise) or bluejeans will get you a pointy-toed boot planted right in your clefted, fashionless derrier, and not in a flirty way.
This is the official Fetishcon sanctioned event for Saturday night -- and when Fetishcon sanctions something, baby, you know it's going to be good. So get thee to Tampa -- and party with the pervs.
