Pleasure Productions' contract star Tera Wray has been in the adult industry for about a year. Her 13 movies so far tend toward what might politely be called a rock 'n' roll esthetic -- in Tattooed & Tight, she got inked and fucked, and in the just-released Punk'd Your Ass, she participated in pranks in which guys who do fucked-up shit got to fuck her.
We caught up with the brunette heartthrob at the recent Adult Entertainment Expo for a chat about her life in the industry and her upcoming projects.
Eros Zine: How did you get started in the industry?
Tera Wray: I was working at Hooters, and these guys came in
to town, relocating my favorite adult store, and I said fuck it, I'm
going to go over there and tell them how much I love the store. And
while I was there I said, hey, so how do I get in the industry? And
they're like, "You want to work at the store?" And I said, "No, I
wanna fuckin' do porn!" And they introduced me to Pleasure Productions
and it's been sweet love ever since.
Eros Zine: Had you not done any scenes before you got signed to be a contract star?
Tera Wray: I was brand spankin' new. I was fresh off the fuckin'
plane.
Eros Zine: They just trusted that you were hot and could do a hot scene?
Tera Wray: Well, they did a test scene with me first, when
they first met me, to make sure I did actually want to do it -- a
lot of girls get in there, and they suddenly think "Aaaah! I can't
do this!" But I was totally enjoying it and then for six months I
was just going around to different trade shows, meeting people and
stuff. And then they're like, "Yeah, we could really use you."
Eros Zine: How many scenes have you done?
Tera Wray: I have 13 movies out right now, and more to come.
Eros Zine: What are your favorite kind of scenes?
Tera Wray: I like to have some cock and some pussy in there.
You have to have the best of both worlds, you know? The more the merrier
in my book.
Eros Zine: You're bisexual, then -- in your private life, too?
Tera Wray: Oh, definitely. I've loved girls forever. For a
long time there I was just dating girls, so I was like "fuck men!"
Then I was like, "I really miss that cock. Dildos just aren't the
same," you know?
Eros Zine: In porn, I guess you get both.
Tera Wray: I do, man! I get everything. Everything I want.
Eros Zine: Any other kind of scenes you're into?
Tera Wray: I really like to bang girls in the ass with dildos
or strap-ons. I like doing crazy shit that other people haven't done.
I mean, I'm down for whatever, really -- I'm here to please. For instance,
Tattooed & Tight, we're working on more of those -- every month we're
doing another one. That's where we, the performers, are actually getting
tattooed while we're engaged in sexual acts. And that's been a fantasy
of mine since I can remember. You know, every time I've gotten a tattoo,
it's such an adrenaline rush and I get so fuckin' horny, and I'm just
like, "God, I just want to fuck." And now I finally get to do it.
So that's a dream come true.
Eros Zine: Do you get adrenaline rushes from other things that make you feel hot?
Tera Wray: Yeah -- everything for me is all about the adrenaline
rush. I'm an adrenaline junkie. I do extreme sports -- everything
in my life, there has to be something extreme. I like fetishes, I
like being spanked, I'll do anything you want. As long as I know it's
making you happy, it's making me happy. [laughs]
Eros Zine: Do you want to direct or do anything else in the industry?
Tera Wray: Definitely. I want to stay in this business until
I retire. And I know I'm not going to be able to be acting the whole
time. So, yeah, I want to dabble in everything, I want to direct some,
I'd like to have my own production company maybe one day -- there's
a lot of possibilities. But you gotta take it one step at a time.
I've only been in the business for a year; I've learned so much in
a year. And I can see a lot of really great things happening.
Eros Zine: What projects are you most excited about that you want people to go out and buy?
Tera Wray: Punk'd Your Ass 2 just came out; it's a spoof off
of Jackass and Punked put together. I've never watched porn that's
really funny like this. There's never been a porn that I watched the
dialogue stuff -- usually you fast-forward through the dialogue and
watch the fucking; for this one I'm watching the whole entire movie.
Eros Zine: People get pranked, right -- if people want to have sex with the porn star… they have to do some weird fucked-up shit. What kind of fucked-up shit do they have to do?
Tera Wray: In the first one, Matt Zane, the director -- I was
going to blow him if he could pick me up while he was suspended by
meat hooks. And he did pick me up, but there was a little twist --
his brother beat him to it before he got back to the room. This other
one, a guy had to go into a bunch of convenience stores to get me
candy, because I was having a really bad sweet tooth that night. But
he had to do it all completely butt-ass naked in these stores. And
these store people are like, "What the fuck's going on?" In one of
them, I ran in naked, too, asking what was taking him so long, and
then that's when Matt Zane tries driving off in the fuckin' van, and
I'm in the parking lot beating on the fucking window, screaming "Let
me back in! I'm gonna go to jail, you bastard!"
Tera Wray: It was so much fun -- I've never laughed so hard.
